Anyone have a source. I go thru them (lost, worn out) and hate buying 4 packs. Anyone know of a source for a dozen or more at a time.....quantity pricing? thx, Lew
Moon Gels
Moon gel is my #1 fav damping product. The only way that I know of is the way it is sold in the can 4 pack. I have a question how are you wearing them out ? I have cans form 10 years ago and they are still going strong, keep the gels clean with soap and water they last a very very long time.
Moon Gel is for a drum? Dampener? Shoot, I stick 'em in my ears!

Moon gel is a super legit product!!! Love it!!!
I used to use moon gel until I discovered tape loops. Gives me a lot of flexibility, considerably cheaper, stays put and cost about 15 bucks for an almost unlimited supply. I guess it depends on how much dampening you want.

Moon gel is nothing more than a silicone pad. Go ahead and search ebay using that term, but don't blame me.

I took the eBay advice and soon should have a couple of 34B Floor Toms. Thanks! Anyone used the heat sinks pads? same size? or baking pads cut up?
Most of the time they are lost in tear down / pack up. I don;t wan to **** off the bass player by criticizing his roadie help. I do wash them with dish soap and water, but at some point the bar funk wins and they don't adhere well and then, bye bye. I also prefer them to tape loops, a wallet, etc. They can be cut a spread around or used as is. Never know until you hit the drum in the room.
Be nice if they were sold by the dozen, like a brick of sticks.
I might try moon gel one of these days. I always use a little piece of strategically placed duct tape!
