MIJ Star restoration

Found a couple of spurs for you! I need to know a couple of details. The rubber tips vary slightly. If one is a perfect match, it's yours! I'll send a PM with my email. A picture would be a great help. You're just about there, Doug!

Thanks drumfx. I think I'm going to be repainting for sure. It's pretty ratty. I'll have to wait though as my shop is not heated. Ugh. I guess I have other stuff I can work on.

Here's a question ...

My wrap is not stuck to the luan but only glued on the ends where it overlaps. I could take on doing the contact cement at this point now that it's all apart. Or I could just glue down the ends like it was before. I was leaning toward a full glue job (as I read somewhere that it would make a difference in sound - which sounds dubious tbh) but am thinking if I rewrap eventually, I may just be making my job tougher down the road. Thoughts ladies and germs ....?

Ok, so .... bearing edges. I'm at that point. Both toms need to be done, thankfully the bass drum is in really great shape. I'm wanting to be vintage correct so, am I talking about a round over style? Seems pretty "flat" to me now. Anyone who has had this done or sent them to Precision Drum Co. care to chime in? Thanks.

Ok, so I'm taking a break from the kit and started working on the snare I just acquired. It's a Star "Made in Japan, COS job. Very heavy and terrific sounding. Got a great price on it, even factoring in shipping. Here's some in process pics ...
