There were two catalog 4 piece sets that came with the cymbal mount on the bass drum. They still used the center post holder . 12/14/20 or 13/16/22. Of course ,as mentioned someone could have ordered a 12/14/22 or put together a mixed set after the fact. Either way that's a desirable color .

Someone at the factory probably said "hey are we out of 22 shells?" and someone said "they're coming, just grab one of those 20 for now." I imagine that happend they're often from what we've seen in the past on here. Could be a special order like was mentioned also.
They look well worn but nice enough. The classic 20/14/12 setup is my favorite.
I did the trade, they need a good cleaning, but I love the finish. The kick is a 22, I imagine it would be difficult to piece together an avocado strata kit, especially with a 14 floor tom. Whether it was a special order or pieced together, it's still cool. Disregard the funky tom arm, I know it's not original, the 12 is going on a snare stand anyway.
How close are the serial numbers on the badges? That might tell how they ended up together (born together or met later in life).
Very cool!
I too "traded up" from a Maple Cortex to a Bronze Strata Standard - love 'em.
FWIW, I like your sizes AND the funky tom arm :)
Good for you! Those are some really cool drums
Thank you!

The floor is really green on side opposite badge and the other side is more blue, is that normal for this finish?

Probably sat near a window for a long time and the sun faded away the green.
Thank you!
