Ludwig 17 inch tenor shell, rims, heads & some hardware

Loading...

Over on the restoration page you can see how I started with this drum under "Citristrip fail." Hopefully this can make a decent floor tom conversion.

The shell is in over-all decent shape. I'll take it that an experienced guy won't see the separation at the chamferred edge as a big minus since it can be re-glued. Once I heard the first "snap" trying remove the wrap, I stopped. The 17 inch rims do have a lot of mileage but the heads are very good and lugs and screws all seem original. The lugs have some major mileage too. Just look close at the pictures in case you see negatives I didn't see.

$65 OBO plus ship from southeast PA.

No takers? Off my rocker with the price? No Luddy guys wanting that floor tom conversion? Make me an offer....it's just sitting here collecting dust. Dean.

No interest? How about $40 OBO + shipping from southeast PA? My wife will kill me if I don't move some of this gear out of the way before the holidays...so make an offer. Or tell me this is junk and it won't sell-I'll simply toss it & sell the hardware piece-meal..... Brutal honesty won't hurt my feelings. Thanks. Dean.

I don`t think it`s junk...The shell looks solid...May just take some time to find the right buyer that can use this...Your price seems reasonable...

Still boxed and STILL in the back seat of my van due to guys who opted out. Does $30 plus shipping float anyone's boat? Be a good locked in project....Grantro, thanks for the word. I think it's a good project drum. Hope all are healthy. D.

The heads alone are worth this. Somebody snatch this up! Great sounding drums in this size.
