I am just thinking what are the odds that my 1971 Hollywood set had the large lugs on the 12" and then my 1980 6 ply's had the large lugs on the 12" and the 10".

For them to run out of shells and use standard shells with the Large lugs on them just seems to big a coincedence. I know Ludwig did some things that were not exactly uniform all the time.

I had just assumed by the mid '70's big lugs were in.

it looks kinda funny when you have that huge modular hardware and the small lugs.
