Quick comment on the bearing edges, rounover is much better for vintage.
Makes them more mellow IMO. Remo Vintage heads sound really great too. They are super dark and blend well with the music. You should put pictures up. Show 'em off man!

Hey, I'll be gigging my champagne sparkle Kent set tonight! Can't wait to get them out of the basement an into a nice room for a change.
I'll have to check out one of those Remo Skyntone heads - Haven't seen them before.
Will take photos as soon as i get then back from having the edges done!! I am using the roundover edges like the gretsch drums had! It was highly reccomended by many people!! Also he is going to do the snare bed and finish off the inside of the shells.I had to leave it with him for a couple of weeks to get it done??(he must be very busy??) but he came highly reccomended and he is really good!!! Have fun with the kent set tonight!!!Its nice to take them out and get them seen!! nobody knows what they are...lol.Those heads just came out and only the specialty and bigger drum shops have them now,but you can get them!Plus they pretty much match the fiberskyns if you have them on the kit now.Maybe i will drive up to see you tonight...lol only a skip and a jump...lol. Have fun,Andy
Does Remo still only make the Skyntone heads in sizes 13" and 14"?
yes, only 13 and 14!! dont know why?? just for snare drums
