John Grey Champagne Sparkle

Hey everyone!

Just curious if anyone knows anything solid about this kit. Ive never seen one in person before. It appears to be 100% original and barely played. Missing the tilter on the shell mounted cymbal holder, but otherwise...man. Its cool! Sizes are 12x20, 8x12, 16x16, 5x14 and they appear to be all international sizes. Has the original cow bell holder (and the bell is Beverley) and sticks/brushes.

At any rate....any info is appreciated!

Beautiful set, Adam!! It looks like it`s in remarkable condition!!

Is this yours or are you thinking of purchasing it? If yours, Can you post a pic of the badge please?

If it`s not yours, I would purchase it if I were you, depending on price of course...

Cheers

It's mine. The badges are just stickers that say "made in England" with rubber grommets in the breather holes. I am considering selling but mostly I'd like to find out some info about it and play it for a bit! It's pretty cool. Tom interiors are grey. Bass and snare are natural. All drums except snare have re rings.

I`m thinking that John Grey drums came with badges...Does it look like they`ve been removed from the breather holes?

Cheers

Yes, the hardware is right...All the John Grey drums I`ve seen had badges, but, there is always a possibility that they came from the factory without badges...

Cheers

If you do sell them, I would be interested in the brushes and sticks if you are willing to separate them from the set...

Cheers

All the drums look exactly like the pic. I don't see how there would be room for badges. Re: the sticks and brushes, PM if you'd like to make an offer. I feel like keeping them all together I think, but you never know. Anyone play these kits? The videos online seems to present them as sounding pretty cool.

Could they have been re-wrapped?

Very cooooooool kit!

I'd never sell it if it were mine.

Sure looks as if Premier, Beverly and John Grey were all blood relatives.
