Imperial - Swiss-made vintage drums

Loading...

Hello guys,

A few months ago I made a really sweet deal :)

I got this wonderful Imperial set, 22 inch bass drum and 12 and 14 inch toms (unfortunately they are all pre-international sizes), along with a Pearl Export snare, a pair of Meinl Streamer hats, a nice Pearl hi-hat stand and a home made snare stand :)

All of this for 100 euros! (that'd be around 130$)

The wood and the finish are super solid, so is the hardware, nothing is harmed, the drums have reinforcement rings...and I'll leave the pictures do the talking now, you've heard enough from me :D

Enjoy!

P.S. Sorry for the dust, I was kinda in a rush when I was taking the photos, they are all clean and shiny now :))

Oh, and I forgot to mention, I also got the front hoop and a front head for the bass drum, but no lugs and claws :(

These days I'll be visiting some local craftsmen around here to see if they can replicate the lugs, aand I'll keep you updated :)

Cheers!

Guess I have to sleep one night and then decide, whether I find these (never seen before) rare lugs nice or ugly. Toilet

Anyway - thanx for sharing with us!

Thanks for sharing,... never saw an Imperial drum kit.

What a great looking set, congratulations.

I owned a Dutch 1940's Triumph snare which basically was a copy of an Imperial snare.

They even copied the badge and logo !?

Those look very cool. Good luck finding the parts you need, or having them made.

Best

A set to die for! Do they have anything to do with the Royal Gedeponer brand?...In any case the set exudes class and the shells look just amazing!
