I'm watching that one too...

Of course none of the three drums are the sizes that RB is looking for.

Not only are the drums NOT the sizes that RB is looking for but, even if the auction ended at the current price of $960 (which it won't), the price of the kit including the shipping costs would exceed RB's "absolute max" of $1,000.

i think im going to wait for now. im sure this is the wrong venue to try and get a kit for my price range. i understand how it is, sellers are p!ssed that stuff is going so cheap and buyers are taking advantage of the lull in the market.

i myself have recently sold afew sets for way less then they are worth and i don't think anyone here is willing to give a great set away for $1,000.00

i'll keep looking locally but lets consider my request in this thread off the table.

thanks for the offers guys, you all have beautiful kits and deserve your asking price. don't give your stuff away, it will rebound.

best of luck to all

RB

Yesterday on Portland CL there was a '73 Buddy Rich Slingerland cat # 80n listed for 470, it sold fast, missed it. 'Course it's not the sizes you are looking

for but it had 2 floor toms and matching snare, so deals can be had with

some luck and maybe you will get super lucky and find a jazzer for under 1k. :)

Found it!!
