One of these days I would like to re wrap it but it would cost a small fortune...
Heck -- even re-heading them would cost a small fortune!
Hey Wess
Nice kit you've got there.
Just wondering what snare you're running there? It looks to be a Powerline or a King Beat.
Either way, great snare. Those Tama seemless shells are awesome.
Here are my 70's/80's Tama snares.

An early King Beat- before they started using the parallel action strainer,
An all birch Superstar Mastercraft,
A seemless steel Mastercraft,
A 14"x8" Artstar Cordia,
The 2 on the right are early 80's seemless steel Swingstar snares. They are a very well kept secret when it comes to great sounding, yet affordable steel snares. The ones from the early 80's feature the same seemless shells as the high end Mastercraft, and Kingbeat lines, but utilize an 8 lug design, with different hoops, lugs, and strainer.
They can often be picked up for under $100.
By the way, that Artstar Cordia snare in the middle has a kit to match.

Pretty impressive collection there! Very nice! Thanks for sharing.
The snare is a Powerline. Love the way it sounds.
Added new pics after replacing heads and a few more cymbals. Loving it.
Great Tama Kit she's a stunner.
