The year they went from scroll pattern to 12 point floral is 26. It` is a BB with I think, deluxe finished trim. It looks like it only needs a tear down and good cleaning. I can`t see cleaning those rods on the drum. The bulb and power cord (that Purdie`s afraid of) are not in it.

Let me go look.

It ran to about 29 as you have it. Then they switched to 10 point floral.

You got a ballpark price.

I believe member Mike Curotto who literally wrote the book on these, still services them. Not too sure though. Maybe he`ll chime in.

Those are sacred around here and we need pics of the finished clean. We like to stare at drums we wish we had.

I`ve heard from several owners on this site that they sound like crap compared to modern snares.

So, you're the one. I watched it when it was listed at $1999 and didn't sell... was going to make an offer to the seller. Good score!

Hey I got the drum! Came safe and sound . Two of the clips essentially blew up when

I touched them.. they most likely were fracture and broke during the shipping. Took the calf skin head off or should I say pryed the head off .. inside is black .. under the skin is brass .. looks like this was stripped a long time ago .. although there is some dashes of black still there .. any comments on that would be helpful .. also how do I find replacement clips .. Ill post more pics soon
