Pacific and Yamaha/Olympic style snares.I keep drums like those around to complete sets I've rebuilt for my friend's students.The heads would cost that much.It's funny,because every once in a while one of those student-mid grade drums will kick #ss.A mid 90's Tama Rockstar snare ended up sounding like a Superphonic!Whodathunkit?
First: For $50.00 you can't go wrong at all... School will start soon, if you don't want them some budding young drummer will take them off your hands at a tidy profit.
Second: teverson-sr, I agree! Some (that's some) of those 'cheap' drums amaze me. Especially some of the 'Rockstar' snares.
