reviving this old thread for help with something Deri-related.
Calfskin (or anyone else who knows your German drums)
can you take a look at the Deri catalog on DrumArchive and try to pin down the year it's from using the drums that are (and aren't in it)?
Didn't Deri make an odd-shaped bass drum like Trixon later in the 50s? I don't think that's shown here so I am thinking this catalog is from the early to mid 50s??? A more exact date would be helpful for the research I am doing on Paiste cymbals.
Thanks in advance for any insight on this catalog.

heres the front cover and page 1 of a 1957/58 Deri catalogue and you can clearly see the Dei model Dixi and then my drum set in the rare red perloid...
so would say your catalogue is maybe a later one...

Diamond, the Stambul prices suggest the catalog is earlier, maybe 1953-1955?
Do those dates work based on the drums shown in the catalog on Drum Archive?
Do you have the rest of the 57/58 Catalog?
