I think some closer pictures of the inside grommets, outside badges, edge of wrap etc, will help, your pictures are pretty small.

Can you detect any "curling" up of the edge of the wrap along its seam? That era was notorious for seams curling up due to the way the wrap and the glue interacted with each other.

I can't see ANY fading at all....and it's green sparkle...

And, yeah, better close ups of everything will be needed.

The way the counter-cut and wrap is cut back like that 13" tom...weird....BUT, having said that, this was also the era when some of the shells were slightly oversized and, thus, maybe someone at the factory had to cut the edges differently to accommodate getting a head to fit...? I just can't do anything but guess....But my red flag detector is going crazy! ;)
