About that re-wrap? The inside of the grommet is cut/split in 3 places...

How thick is the wrap? If it was a newer rewrap it would be the thinner stuff. Compare it to a few other drums you have.

I recently bought a late 50's RK snare and was told it was original wrap. Well it isn't and the wrap is no thicker than the newer Ludwig accent tubs we have here. The wrap has nice color and some yellow but no way original. But at least the heads fit on it ok LOL. Drum wasn't a lot of money and wrap job clean and tight. Meh. :)
