After a little more Ebay shopping I found that Delmar is making "Large Flake White Pearl, in the style of the 50's 60's white pearl" I went ahead and ordered that one plus a piece to redo my 18x14 BD, from drumsandsome.com. I had covered it about 10 years ago in Vintage WMP from Precision Drum but its so yellow it doesn't really match. Plus the pattern is much smaller than the old Gretsch white pearl. So no I'll have two PJ snares, a 3 ply and a 6 ply. I love playing them both so I don't know if I'll wind up selling one or not. I'll post some pics soon. With my K's and RB Bop kit, I feel pretty privileged, for a hack jazz player.
