Hi, I'm new to the forum, I hope this isn't a dumb question. I was trying to find a good store with an online presence that stocks a nice selection of vintage drums. The Trading Musician in Seattle usually has a nice stock of vinage kits. I was hoping to find some other stores to check out. Thanks!
Good online vintage drum store? Last viewed: 38 seconds ago
Only one I can think of at the time.
Steve Maxwell Vintage and Custom Drums
“I did not trip and fall. I attacked the floor and I believe I am winning.”
Two others worth considering; Vintage Drum Center http://www.vintagedrum.com/ Ned has been in business a very long time! Another site with very nice, but EXPENSIVE kits, is Classic Vintage Drums at http://www.classicvintagedrums.com/
As always, Steve Maxwell is another wonderful source for quality vintage kits.
Welcome to the forum!

Not an online store, but we do have a sale, buy n trade section on this forum. Lots of good stuff listed in all 3 categories.
And welcome to the forum. What vintage drums are you looking for? Someone here might be able to help.

Since I'm selling a beautiful kit on this very forum, I'll second that suggestion!
Late 50s Black Nitron 3 Ply Gretsch 13/16/20 w/ Max Roach Snare
I should also mention Revival Drum Shop in Portland. Their website is a little tough to navigate, but they've got cool stuff.
Late 50s Black Nitron 3 Ply Gretsch 13/16/20 w/ Max Roach Snare
Guitar Center Used online.
Music Go Round as well.
Bigger chains but hey if you gotta have it you gotta have it.
Thanks a lot for the input. I just looked for a little bit in the for sale section and noticed a couple of things I would want. In fact the late 60's blue sparkle set for sale by drfills is EXACTLY what I would want in every way. I was initially looking for a 70's era Ludwig kit because they seem to be more affordable, but if I can I would seriously think about finding a way to buy his set. I'm looking for a Ludwig, Slingerland, Gretsch, or Rogers kit. Pretty much in that order. Just the one mounted tom, one floor tom configuration. Thanks again for the suggestions.
