It's nice to see a Blue Ripple wrap that hasn't started to turn mint green. So many of this Blue Ripple wraps turn mint green as they age/fade.

Blue Ripple is one of my favorite Rogers wraps, and to have that wrap with Beavertails is unusual, because Blue Ripple was discontinued as a catalog finish the very same year Beavertails were introduced (1963). That's only a one-year window availability for Blue Ripple w/Beavertails on Dynasonics, Powertones, and Holiday shells; however, the 360's seem to have been readily available in Blue Ripple long after Rogers dropped the wrap as a standard catalog finish. I never could understand that.
Value? I would have easily paid $200 for that snare when I had my 1963 orphan 20" Blue Ripple Holiday bass with factory Beavertails. I finally got frustrated waiting for matching toms, so I sold it to a fellow member here. I think you got a fine snare for a fair price.
