Great score for $175. I would say you really made out well. Probably paid less than they sold for new, though they may have had hardware and some cymbals with them at that juncture.

Let us know how they sound.

Thanks. Terry Graham (Gun Club) helped me make the decision to go get 'em. ;)

"Japan" is stamped in some of the metal, as is "Pearl" - but there are no stickers or emblems on the outside.

If it's one of the '68 styles from this catalog, it seems to be the Deluxe Outfit. But -- maybe one of you can tell me for sure.

I'm hoping someone can chime in a help me figure out what year and model this set is. Here's a few more close-up pics to maybe assist.

Tom-tom inside:

Floor tom inside:

Tom-tom consolette mount:

Also, where could I get another bracket to hold a second tom-tom on the consolette? Is the consolette safe/strong enough to hold two?

I agree. I've played a little with them, but have only had a stand for a ride (which is attached to the bass). No snare stand either, so I've been just monkeying around with simple Gories type of stuff. But, stands arrive today! However, I also work late this evening so I will probably have to wait till Friday night to play. Boo!
