Drum Line...

Loading...

Well, these were actually out-of-the-shop and delivered a couple of weeks ago, but just now taking the time to post pics.

Barton County Community College's (Great Bend, Ks) "new" Drum Line. All refurbished drums, built from old discarded marching drums...

14 drums in all. 4 BDs (22, 24, 26, 28), 2 Parade Drums (12x14), and two sets of Quads. Wrapped in Jammin' Sam's Tropical Blue, which according to BCCC's music director it was an almost perfect match to their school's main color.

Looks great Bill! I was in drumline back in high school.. played the quads. good times! I'm thinking one of these days ill purchase a set of quads and try to re-live my glory days! ....by playing them on a stand, of course... this back couldnt handle carrying them bad boys again! hahaha

Great job and a great cause! So many music programs have been cut from school budgets that's it's really gratifying to see it coming back.

Good karma!

John

Too many great drums to list here!

Just was sent this link this week.

BCCC's "new" drumline in action at a basketball game's half-time.

The focus, of course, is on the dance team, and you can't see the drums real well... but they sure sound good!
