I see what happens when I don't check out the forum for a while. I missed the discussion on all these beautiful kits. I use my sivertones to gig with, and I will sing the praises of these kits to the last.

I generally don't like the red and blue sparkles - but yours I like. It appears to lighten up in the light (I prefer light blue over medium or darker blue) and you have alot of lugs! Nice 8 lug BD and FT......and I see you also have a MIJ stencil "Speed Pedal" BD pedal - and the advanced model with double springs! I have one of those as well, but with the single spring - and all those fancy adjustments - which don't seem to be adjustments at all! It is a crappy pedal that I decide to keep so that I can run an all MIJ stencil if I want to.
Regarding this thread - yours is another example of what we are saying on here, where it is slightly angled and is mounted slightly off-center, just like my Dixie. It appears that the OP has one of those on his new find - mounted in holes that were meant for straight-up center piece. Not right, but of course it works and keeps him up and running with his beautiful kit! That will be an easy thing for him to swap out - not hard to find those and not hard to unload one either (of either type).

It seems like all the mij kits sold around here were all red or blue Sparkle. An mij kit with a nice pearl or ripple wrap doesn't show up around here very often. I was lucky to find my yamahas with the red Ripple. As far as the pedal, yes, I actually use the pedal, but gig with a pearl single eliminator. The kit came complete with pedal, matching hihat stand, bass drum cymbal L-arm, cowbell and wood block mounted on a stand. All original with the kit.

Sometimes Ebay might be a good option for you, though the shipping cost would make it a bit more costly for ya.
Re: the hardware - you are fortunate to have the arm to mount off the BD, as that is a common part missing on all these MIJs. I was blessed enough to find an MIJ deal that included 2 different types of those arms, so now I am covered with whatever MIJ cymbal mounting my BD of choice calls for, with the exception of the Majestic, which I understand is an altogether different beast.
Also, I would recommend that you collect matching MIJ hardware for the entire kit - clean up that MIJ hardware (flat based I assume) as it looks real nice with these MIJs when cleaned up, they ARE functional (though not as 'nice' as a modern stand), but mostly because they are VERY compact when you are moving a whole set of HW. I am in the process of cleaning some up during these holidays.
