Nice!! I'm going to say that Rogers could have sold a few sets of that color had it been available/offered back then. That really pops! Great work and thanks for reviving another heretofore basketcase.

I don't know what it is about that color, I saw a kit in the same color at a local GC and fell in love. I think this turquois sparkle may have just beaten out champagne sparkle for my favorite wrap.

I know eh? But then if you had the turquoise, you might worry the champagne sparkle was cooler after all... :) ...one of the reasons I'm glad my lone kit I can afford to own is maple finish - I can't torture myself about the wrap lol!

One thing we are very fortunate about is that many original-type wraps are available these days, with the glass glitter being one of them.

I had tried the glass wrap once on a stripped-off Dynasonic and didn't do well with the chore. But Adam hit the ball out of the park. I recently had Village Drum Shop in RI do a set in red glass and it came out beautifully. The labor cost was very affordable for those that are thinking about doing it but are either not equipped or haven't time and the patience that Adam applied with his turquoise kit.

The wrap on this kit had not done well, and was more than likely exposed to a lot of extremes of temperature. It was fissured and cracked to an extent that it demeaned the otherwise noble Rogers design. Now it is back to what it was intended to be. There remain plenty of kit on which the wrap has survived nicely, but there are also a lot that can benefit from the wrap while it's still out there.
