I, being more interested in sound that historical correctness, didn't have a negative reaction to this set. I don't think there's a band anywhere that those wouldn't be a great set of drums for.

I just checked and today that's $621 in US funds. Now I'm going to guess that because of scarcity and shipping that the same set of American drums selling in the USA would typically cost a bit more in England (is this true?).

So lets say that if they would have sold for $621 there, that might translate to $500 - 550 here, which for a vintage set of Slingy's seems like you could do much worse.

Yeah, your both right. They always go for more over here and yes, they'd still sound great! Still, would be great to get a vintage set untampered with, and I probably would have snapped em up for £90 less

These slingy's are back up again, even though they sold! He's doing them pick-up only, no overseas, so I guess sale fell through!
