They went for £390 - would have been a lot higher if it hadn't been bastardised. Glad I left alone!
I, being more interested in sound that historical correctness, didn't have a negative reaction to this set. I don't think there's a band anywhere that those wouldn't be a great set of drums for.
I just checked and today that's $621 in US funds. Now I'm going to guess that because of scarcity and shipping that the same set of American drums selling in the USA would typically cost a bit more in England (is this true?).
So lets say that if they would have sold for $621 there, that might translate to $500 - 550 here, which for a vintage set of Slingy's seems like you could do much worse.
