Or maybe closer to the true value? The 4ply Natural Maple set of Oaklawn Aristocrats that sold on ebay recently went for $3500.00 for a 20",12,14 and the matching 5.5x14" snare drum. Considering the condition was outstanding, I would say they sold for a lot less than what they are worth. Steve Maxwell might have listed them closer to the $5,000.00 range and with a sound file would have gotten it..
I sold a same kit 3-4 years ago for $4,400 I recall....same finish/condition...everything...
Maybe it is the same kit!
