From what I understand, Buddy was given a few piles of identical cymbals that he selected from, the rest went somewhere.
It is so easy to hammer in the correct stamp. Gotta have authenticity or you get prolly 80 bucks for them.

Ya, I'd need a bit more proof than initials stamped in a cymbal before I'd trade a complete Rogers kit. And I'm sure the original guy who sold the cymbals for $75 a piece, knew they were not BR's cymbals.
OK!!! I have what's probably going to be the last word on this situation with Cathy. I know you've all been waiting with bated breath, ha!
Cathy Rich's lawyer that she turned to in this matter, as it turns out, is good buddies with Donn Bennett (though I don't know his/her name). That's probably neither here nor there but I found it amusing.
The lawyer advised Cathy that unless she has proof that the cymbals were stolen, there isn't a thing she can do to get them back legally. And it turns out that she doesn't have anything to that effect so she's backing off. The lawyer also told her she should take down all her facebook rants on the matter, which it appears that she has.
So that will probably be that. I can't imagine Donn will wade back into this mud puddle, so I think it's all over.
Oddball..what do you mean ...."it is so easy to hammer in the correct stamp"?..
Where do you get the "correct" stamp from?
Have you done this before?
Please put up a video/pics of you doing so...thanks......
Johnny/Tommy.......PM me..I will give you my friends name that I traded with ...who is on on FB...
You can contact him,...have him send pics of cymbal...go from there....

I'm still seeing some of the original posts in the FB BRL and on her FB page. One has been slightly edited but you can view the edit also. So for now most of the original posts are still there. Very odd her lawyer is friends with DB. BTW did Donn ever comment on any of this? He should have at least addressed the fact he no longer has/owns the store. And ask people to keep the new owner out of it. Would have been a nice gesture since the guy paid extra for keeping the DB store name. JMO. Guess the fan was on high as the $hit storm raged on. What's the FB link to the drama?
And getting my stamp kit ready to make some stamps...
Oops, it's on her FB page, reading it now with my morning cupper Coffee Break2
BTW, anyone know what Rudy's last name is that owns DB shop?
I have no idea if Donn Bennett has responded to any of this in any public way, I've never been personal friends with him but I've shopped at his store a lot over the years. Rudy Simone is the new owner's name. I heard he was getting bizarre phone calls and voicemails at the store from Cathy's angry friends that didn't realize he wasn't DB.
I can't see Cathy's original fb post, just her update post saying Donn told her the cymbals were sold. Perhaps her friends can still see the original.
If this Rudy has an online presence I'm going to buy something off him... Poor guy trying to make a living gets caught up in this stupid mess. Talk about a small business man's nightmare. Be nice to turn this into something positive for him.
