I am by no means an expert on BBs, but could be a different year, but more likely a different engraver (or both). As a general rule, the logo was on the strainer panel, but I have seen it below, a panel over etc.

I am ashamed to say that in 1960, because my BB was in poor shape, cosmetic wise, my father had it chromed. It looks beautiful BUT who knew what its value would be 50 years later if we had left it original. The interesting thing is that it was one of my father's original snares.
