Ok, I'm not quite sure what "your way" means. You said that you used heat transfer, correct? If so, all you need is transfer paper, a T-shirt, a printer and your heat transfer machine.

If any of the forum members wish to make their own shirts at home using an ordinary iron, just watch the video, get your materials together, (transfer paper and a shirt,) and I will email you a copy of the image that you can use to create your own transfer in your printer at home. I like the design and I'm going to make a couple of shirts for myself. If anybody wants a copy of the VDF artwork I created, PM me.

sorry guys it seems his equipment doesn't handle this sort of printing, I guess I know as much about printing as vintage drums

I recently had some pictures imposed on some tee shirts. I'll reach out to this guy as well.

ok....plan 2....these guys can get the job done however they are asking my questions I don't have the answers to, perhaps John would you be able to talk to these people, first questions he asked was what color shirt? back or front printing? what sizes? and the huge question is how many shirts do we need? they recently printed some shirts for me with my son on it. and one things he needed were large pixel shots. the pic as you see it came out exactly on the shirt as the picture, these guys are a large Co so if someone can take the ball from here, that would be good.

There's no need for you to apologize at all. It's a great idea and we just ran into a snag is all. There is also no need to involve any T-shirt companies because this is something anyone can do at home. Even if you don't want to be bothered buying transfer paper and printing at home, you can go to any Staples style store and they will print the transfer for you. I will supply you with the artwork you will need. Just burn a copy of the file to a disc and run it over to Staples. Order as many transfer prints as you will need.

These logos are for printing on -light colored, or white T-shirts only. Watch the video I provided in an earlier post for simple instructions. You don't need a heat transfer machine, the transfer can be done using an ordinary household iron. Ask for 'Cold release' transfer paper! Makes for a better, longer lasting image.

PM me your private email addresses with 'VDF Art' in the subject title and I will send you a copy of the logo.

Slingerland, you had an excellent idea! No harm, no foul. I'm psyched to make up a couple of shirts for myself. I'll post up some shots of the results after I do it.

Purdie,

So would the Artwork need to be modified (Eg for a cutout shape) as he has done with the circle in the video??

Cheers

No. I'll set it up inside a square. No shaping of the transfer will be necessary. Just an FYI... anybody who asks for the file will receive a 'reversed' version. It has to be that way so that when it is applied to a shirt it will print right-reading.

GENTS

I'M going to get a shirt made and post it here and see who wants to order one, I need some help with what you think would be a good color combo for and graphic and the shirt

I was thinking light grey shirt? and black text?

the possibilities are endless

give me some ideas please

also, the picture would be on the front you can put the logo of your favorite drum on the back, in my case I'd put Slingerland Niles IL (with the year they were formed)

Great Gary, looking forward to seeing the shirt. I like the logo on the back idea.

Thank you!
