Did you check with any of your neighbors? If it was left there by accident? Our neighborhood is really old and the house numbers run out of sequence due to some newer homes that were built along the street. Pretty frustrating for any new parcel del person. Around here they all will just leave it on your doorstep unless there's a signature confirmation request. In that case if your not home they leave a slip that'll be delivered at a later time/date. Or you can pick it up at the depot. If the weather is nasty they will put it in a clear plastic bag at least. I hope it turns up for you!
Waaaay ahead of you on that one,... one of the first things I did was check with my neighbors actually. No dice! Our neighborhood's numbering is fine, not hard to navigate, I was told by ups that it was indeed a substitute driver that day (go figure I drew the short straw!),... so they are still looking into the whole thing.
The fact is, it is a rule right from UPS themselves that packages have to be out of plain sight, out of the weather, etc.... so if your driver is just leaving stuff out in the open if he has the option to do otherwise, then he's NOT doing his job properly!
Yep,.. maybe the drum parts fairy will bring it to my doorstep tomorrow morning! .... one can only hope! HA!DOH
