Another Offer

Hello all, a friend of mine in Austin is selling this Ludwig blue vistalite, I asked what's his best price. He asked what kits I had, so I showed him my Ludwig Classic Maple and Rogers kits. He asked if I'd trade Ludwig for vistas, I told him I really wasn't interested in trading it for those. A few hours pass and he offers this odd kit along with vistas. It has a 12" Ludwig Classic Maple tom ,14" Rogers floor and 20" Premier kick with Rogers hardware. He thinks only the kick was re-wrapped.

The vistas have a 12,16,22, no cracks or extra holes. I'm seriously considering taking him up on the offer.

Didn't that style tom holder on the vitas only come with double tom set up? So missing the 13?. I may be wrong and ive wondered this for awhile..but nice drums, and the 14 Rogers is nice to have.

But you just got your beautiful Ludwig maplesDOH

That's true, but when someone offers two kits for one, I have to at least consider it.

What kit are you thinking on trading

66/67 downbeat with canister
Super 400 small round knob
1967 super classic obp

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

The 12-in CM tom appears to have micro classic lugs, which were used on Centennial kits, but I could be mistaken due to the angle. Classic Maples would have large or small classic lugs.

The 12 has a keystone badge. I'm thinking the vista is worth around $900 and that 14x14 Rogers floor has got to be pricey on it's own.

I doubt he'd throw in more gear, I think what he's offering is already a fair trade.
