Well you paid $1000 for the maples, so obviously it's a good deal money wise if you trade, but those maples probably sound pretty nice and it's a complete matching kit,if the Rogers 14 is in good condition it'll be worth a good $, the Vistas are nice but is it missing the 13?. So basically the Rogers orphan, maybe rewrap to match your Rogers kit or sell on its own, I would think that your maples sound warmer than the Vistas, depends on the sound you like I guess. The floor tom is probably $700?if in nice condition so you're getting the Vistas an orphan maple tom and orphan Premier bass for pretty cheap....?? But do you want those orphans?
Another Offer
But as Jaghog said you got a great deal on your maples. Re sell those and you'd be better off money wise. You could buy something else (vintage)?
Ya, I bought the maples for a grand shipped and it does sound incredibly delicious.
No. You can do what you wish, of course.
You will be dissapointed in vistas only so much you can do with plastic bucket
Not quite you get the drift

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.
I'm probably worse at making decisions than you JR,but I would probably keep the maples. My 2cents
I should keep them, but this guy is showing me his other kits. He hasn't said what he will or won't trade, but here they are.
Rogers silver glass glitter with a converted floor, 12,14,20.
Rogers orange glass glitter, not sure if it's a re-wrap and floor looks to be converted as well, although he says it isn't, 12,14,20.
Ludwig amber vistalites, not sure of sizes, but I doubt he'd trade, at least not the whole kit.

I thought you said I wouldn't like plastic drums?
I get your point, the value is there if I don't like them, easier to flip.Cool1
You would not, but those amber kits from the 70’s are worth a lot if it’s a Bonzo kit , he played them , if the right sizes they will suffice
