Hi all,
I've noticed some off you have experience with Amedia cymbals!!
Just wanna say, these are not your typical "made-in-turkey-mass-production"cymbals :p
I visited the Amedia workshop in Istanbul last summer, and it was awesome!!
They have more than 27 series but none off them are cheap, stamped cymbals! They do all have their own character and they are all hand hammered by well-trained(,friendly and proud :p) cymbalsmiths.
If you're looking for cymbals made by old tradition, Amedia is the place to go!
I'm not associated with Amedia in any way (altough i wouldn't mind an endorsmentship:p), i'm just telling this because the visit to the workshop left me flabbergasted and i have tons of respect for the dedicated people that create these wonderfull cymbals!!
An old K can't be reproduced, but there are still cymbals made with the same passion!!
Spread the word... ;)
Dennis
(sorry if this looks to much like advertisement or mellow bull**** lol)
