Well, snare drum is complete, accept for the wires, any recommendations?

I made the snare bed arch 5.75" x 3/16".

I was proud of my grommet installation, I used the cheepo flat head bolt from the hardware store version and a ball peen hammer for the final adjustment. If this were not my last kit I would have bought a real grommet tool.

By the way, that chip in the veneer on the inside next to the grommet was already there, I suppose I should have filled it in but I did not. That was a factory vent hole.

That be some mighty fine drum work.
