Not if i was considering it.Nice kit for sure but 6 lug kick and snare has its limitations. If it were 2-250 i,d give it a second look.

Yeah. The wrap is very appealing to me, but he doesn't make it sound like a mint set, plus no hardware, plus the 6 lug kick. Nice to have a second opinion keep me the strait and narrow.

Dreams:

Thats the exact same set I own, except mine is Blue Sparkle.

Nothing wrong with the 6 lugs, after awhile you just know how to tune em.

The only thing I never liked is how they put the bass drum cymbal mount right in the middle of the bass drum and not off to the side. Hard to play a cymbal in that middle position like that.

Also...the price of $450 is WAY to high. You should not pay more than $250 for this set.

I haved own and sold a few set's just like your . the last set i had like that i pretty much gave it away at 225 with some cheap cymbals . hey you never know what someone would be willing to pay for your drums . i recomend that you clean them up to the best of your ability people like shinny drums . i stand with the rest at 2/250 good luck with your drums i hope you get your numbers .

Actually 2xs, looking to buy them, not sell them. It seems the consensus is around 225-250. I'll offer 200 and see what he does.

Dreams: As said before you shouldnt have to go past $250. Thats the top market price for Valencias.

Do you really like that wrap? To each his own, of course, but I was a never a big fan of that Root Beer Color. I guess you'll keep them that color?

On my set, I was VERY tempted to move that cymbal holder mount to the right, but decided not to alter the bass drum.

Mine is currently in the middle of a restoration, when I have time. Hopefully will be done in a couple of weeks time.

I like the wrap, go for it. I wouldn't go past $250 though... And that would be for a near mint kit.

Actually the tiger pearl would be #1 for me, but I do like the root beer too. Maybe it excites me because 99% of the MIJ kits I find around here are either blue or red sparkle. It would be nice just to have something different.

OK, so here's a hypothetical: 250 for the kit, plus new heads, which I would have done anyways. Is that worth $400??

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.
