Thank you guys for the help. i am going to see if i can convince the seller to lower his price big time. hopefully he can arrang a time for me to check out this kit. My buddy fathertime may come with me to check out the kit. i do see a lot of things that are questionable. i think if the shells are in good shape and the snare is top notch i may buy the kit but my limit is $400.00

I'm a Slingerland lover and I like Satin Flame wraps. But, with all of the things that we already know need to be corrected, and some yet to be deiscovered flaws, $200 to $250 is tops of what I would pay.

No matter how far you push the envelope, it is still stationery.

good point, i really want to get my hands on it and inspect it. I wonder how that snare will clean up.

I know if i buy it, i will use the heck out the kit, but if i had to sell it would i get my money back? thats a question i usually ask myself.

just from the pictures i think the snare is worth about $200.00

the Bass is cool, i just really hope the wrap is tight or if it is a re-wrap...i dont know...damn. maybe $150.00

i'll keep you guys filled in on what i do. Sailing2

What i think on the set is 250.00-300.00 tops..the mounted tom and floor tom are re-wraps and don't match the snare and bass. The snare to me does not look like a re-wraped drum the grommet looks right the snare could be a one piece shell it has the R/K strainer on it it shows the butt side but i don't see the handle on the other side..Mikey

Resell value sometimes eludes me as a concern.

How long does it take to get X amount of dollars of use from a set of drums?

what really sucks about this kit is the badges are 50's but the wrap is 64+ I am really hoping that when i go out to check it out this weekend it is a re-wrap. it will suck because its not all original, but if the shells are straight i'll be okay with it, as long as the price is right.

i like the snare and the hardwear, i am just hoping the shells are in good shape and are not drilles like swiss cheese.

I know i am dreaming, but wouldnt it be cool to find out it was re-wraped and they didnt take off the original wrap.....I'll keep you guys updated.
