...and when you're done just throw it in with the growing pile of cymbals that other hard rockers have already destroyed.

i would take at least half of that muffling off. i like the bell. it needs just a touch more crash/wash for my liking... but thats just the tape you have on it

and youre certain about the size and weight? it just doesn't seem that thin to me based on the others that ive owned and played. I would have expected a lot more edge wobble. not second guessing you. just trying to make sure I guess. that's extremely light for one of those..

Hi Mike, yes I'm 100% certain of the size and weight. It's considerably thinner than my other thin 22 at 2245g. I couldn't believe it was that light the first time I weighed it so I weighed it about 10 times just to make sure. It also wobbles a lot but just not on camera. It's also very flexible but not so much under the stick if that makes sense.

VintageDrummer, I agree it is a bit much with the tape. The tape is actually self adhesive felt. It doesn't leave any sticky stuff and comes right off. I also have this dampener under the bell a friend is starting to manufacture. I'll keep working on the muffling for a while.

I just bought a new 22" K that is a "medium thin low".

It comes in at just under 2400 grams.

It is thin and light and has a good bit of wobble to it.

It sounds awesome.

Low freq with lots of overtones and wash.

Very crashable.

The cymbal you posted seems pretty "pingy" for a thin 22".

How does it sound to your ear compared to the sound in the video?

Cell phones always produce a weird filtered sound on cymbals.

At least mine does.

My mouth is shut, because that`s very accurate.

But a lot of fine vintage muscle cars go to the wrecker doing what they are made for.

Sounds nice. I'm surprised by the hard rock comments, it sounds rather jazzy to me.
