1978 Tama Superstar

This is my Tama Superstar circa 1978, 13,16, 24, with a 5x14 King beat snare and original hardware.

Bought this kit in 1980 and over the years it did plenty of gigs and was looking pretty raggy. I decided to give it a "birthday". Stripped the shells back to bare timber with citrus strip and gave them about 20 coats of shellac, then a couple of coats of bees wax to seal the finish and buffed with a lambs wool buff.

Considering I've never attempted anything like this before and didn't really have a clue what I was doing I'm happy with the results.
