This kit looks just like one that I had.Except mine had a brass gene krupa snare drum.

Beautiful drums. I always wonder what other slingerland wood snares sound like in the flesh compared to my two, I will most likely never know. Anyway enjoy those.

Thanks. I'm thinking I should have posted a bit more info with the pics. For anyone interested, the bass and small tom have date stamps of Nov 1962 and the large tom is stamped Jan (unreadable ink blob), so I'm assuming it's 1963. The snare has no stamp, but it has the Zoomatic strainer (without the idiot tab) that was first made in 1962. The bass and snare have the Niles, Illinois badges that were first used in Oct 1962 and have very low serial numbers. The snare is #3754 and the bass is #3789.
