Some colors, like people, age well. White Marine Pearl takes on a nice buttery yellow, Sky Blue Pearl takes on a silvery hue, and Silver Sparkle becomes ginger ale. Aquamarine Pearl on the other hand, not so much.

By the way, my first ever kit was that color and it is near and dear to my heart. I found an identical kit a few years ago and it is in decent shape. Actually the snare, 12 and 16 are in really good shape. The bass drum is a little faded but it is cracked a bit near the bottom.

WOW that is what the one I have is sapose to look like, was it restored or original ? Only 750 man that just aint right.We actually recorded with the set I got and it really sounded good, our drummer liked it a lot... Do you think you could have gotten more for it at the drum show ? Cause it sure is nice if more people seen it I cant help but think you should or would have gotten more. Are these kits really that common, I dont see to many of them and I always keep my eyes open and search for them now and then...But again I am not a drum guy I had my son take some better pics before I packed it up. I can show you what a little more beat up one looks like LOL Thanks for showing me your kit, part of me still wants to go to Chicago just to see what it would get.. I just may would be nice to get out of town for a day anyhow..
