If he's saying this much $$$........than how much $$$ do you think a Black Panther wrapped snare would be worth to someone?

Haven't got a clue as to what one "should" pay for one.........How do you put a realistic value on something that may not even exsist?

I wouldn't think it would go for anywhere near the price of a Oyster Pink/Psych Red/Mod Orange/Mod Citrus Jazz Fest.

I know Ludwig-Dude has a soft spot for Black Panther- but the reality of it is that it is not one of the highly sought after Ludwig finishes.

Just because something is rare does not mean it is worth a fortune and vice versa.

A Walnut or Maple Cortex Jazz Fest is really rare- and I highly doubt anyone would pay more than $350 for one.

Whereas an Oyster Black Jazz Fest- will sell for $2500 because it is in high demand- but they are far from rare.

Somebody in one of these recent posts about these pleather drums said he does in fact have one. For that kina jack, I'm thinkin' I take a mod orange and wrap in pleather...now that would get a rise out of someone....

Just want to give two thumbs up to Vinny, Vintage Drum Bug, for the deal we just completed for a 60s Ludwig Pioneer Psych Red snare. At first I was very hesitant about the whole deal seeing that he's in Cali and that I'm up in Toronto. But with the many back and forth emails and a lot of pics documenting the whole transaction, yeah I was a bit anal, Vinny assured me this deal was for real. He's was very corporative with my requests and never made me feel that I was asking too much of him. The snare came in the description described and as in the pics, and very quickly...within a week via USPS.

Vinny is definitely a trustworthy and honest drum brother! Don't hesitate to make a deal with him if one arises! Thanks again Vinny!

Cheers,

Robbie
