1920's Leedy drum set value Last viewed: 12 minutes ago

Bill,

Beautiful drums! They appear complete and in good condition. I would NOT let a 9 year old near them! I'm sure we have a few Leedy experts here who can evaluate their current value. You may even get some offers here.

The windmill scene is a catalog advertised head from 1929, that's a plus because you have authentic proof of era. It`s exact but the cat. has it flipped the other way.

Here are a few closer of the Bass. This was used in the big bands in our area by my family member.

The Dutch Windmill is also in the 33 catalog but the 29 as well. So the Gold Flake Pearl finish is the earlier one before the Gold Flash finish which yours is not. Big difference there.

Well I am glad I didn't put it together and let my son have at it.

Most of the time, the rivets on the pivot points on the quickthrow are replaced, yours are NOT, another good thing.
