Nice set!!! Sizes please?

Nice kit indeed.I,ll start it off at 750.00.

Bass Drums (2) - 24" & 24"

Floor Toms - 20" & 16"

Toms - 15", 14", 13", 12", 8" & 6" (the 8" & 6 " are open bottom)

Snare - 14"

Only 1 kick pedal, works, but it is stiff.

Highhat stand/pedal needs looked after as well. Sluggish and one of the connections appears rigged.

I believe all the rest of the hardware is there.

If that is all I am offered, I will break it up, for those that are asking. I saw a snare like mine go for $300 on ebay by itself.

You would break it up?...24,13,16,and the cymbals.Thats all i need?

If I cannot get the whole thing sold, I will consider. Have someone looking at the large floor, bass and a 12. Very interesting.

I really think it's the sizes!!! I sold my monster Slingerland for a whopping $500!!!!! Same head sizes (execpt my first floor tom as an 18" then 20") the drums were deeper on mine, and it pulled a whole $200 on ebay!! Thankfully I put a reserve on it and I sold it locally but not for much. In hindsight, I wish I had the balls to break up the set as I had offers much like you are getting for just the 20" floor tom and such and one person offered me $150 for each tom holder for the bass drums. I could have made ALOT more breaking it up!!!! ( I was offered $525 for the 20" floor tom alone!!) Yeah, if you want more money, break it up and sell what's left on Ebay. I really don't know why these nice older kits really don't do well other than possibly the sizes of the drums themselves. My kit was from the early 80's with Niles badges and I figured if the set is this old (over 20 years) and it's made it this far, it should stay together. (I need to work on that mentality I guess) baby crawl2 Beautiful kit anyway ya look at it!! :D

The kit is sold and heading for WA state. Looks like a dream is being realized for someone out West. The kit brought what I originally was hoping for. Since then, I have had a handful of folks upset with me that I did not let them counter offer.

Not the place to tell the story of the new owner, but, I am sooooo happy I did not start breaking it up. It would of brought more money for sure.
