Thats what brothers are supposed to do...my pleasureGroup Hug

Well here is the story of this kit and why i have to have it.

In 1972 I was 12 years old and had been in band in the fifth grade and then in sixth. I found out that if you mailed and asked for the catologs that the drum companies would send you some. The Slingerland 1973 catolog was the first one I got my hands on. I can tell you the name and page fir every drumkit in that catolog......I still have a copy.

I pined over that set for years but could never afford it......fast forward, in the early eighties discovered Yamaha Recording custom and have played Yammie predominantly ever since.

I still have a soft spot for Slingerlands and here we are..........the dream kit.

Well as it turns out I am currently the project manager on a theatre restoration into a top ten live stage on the west coast.

Soooooo The Doobies are slated to open the theatre and I am currently rehearsing with a 9 pc band to open for the Doobs.

That is the set I am going to use.......
