Rogers Holiday (1960's) - Information inquiry

Loading...

Hello,

I am in need of some information, hoping someone can assist. I have a Rogers 1962-1964 (judging by the catalogues), drum sizes:Holiday (Made in Cleveland)- 18"Bass / 14" Floor Tom / 12" Tom, color is black pearl. Swivomatic hardware (stands / hi-hat / snare drum). I have not found any 18" bass drums in the brochures and I am trying to confirm the above info is correct as well as info regarding the 18" bass drum. Many Thx. T-

18" bass drums turn up from time to time, but they are VERY scarce. Considering the lug design, it is more likely from the latter part of your estimated age range. That is a valuable kit you've got there.

I have the same kit...

Maybe take pics of each paper tag inside...and letting us know what tag to what shell.

Also, can you count the wood plys...? Either 3 ply or 5 ply...

Try to count each shell...they may differ..

This is important to dating...

Also...just from the pic...

Looks like a 13" tom...?

Not that it really matters...

But 18/14/&12 usually go together...

If it's a 13"... Might have a different tag..?

18" bass is very scarce and very desireable: the holy grail of Rogers kits, an 18-12-14 from Cleveland is a real prize.

The black color is not the most popular, but that kit is still worth a lot. Maybe $2500 or more, imho.
