ZILDJIAN C°

made in USA

aaaand.....

a 15" hihat bottom or top?? with a stamp that says

made in turkey

K Zildjian & ???

ISTANBUL

?????

and it has an autograph on the inside of the bel

What are these? How old are they? and what would be the value?

New Stamp Istanbul K hat & 60's old A 18" to me.

On the bay, probably $250-300 for hat / $80-120 for 18", but it depends on the market trend.

what's the difference between old stamp and new stamp k's?

and what year would the new stamp be from?

I cannot have something to say the difference in general.

It is because the sound depends on each character to me though I've played about more than twenty old K rides.

I'm sorry the stamp might be intermediate K(1959-1966). Probably, the price may be $350-500.

How difficult would it be to find the matching 15" to have a complete hihat??

Are these rare??

Sometimes I may come across an orpahn 15" Intermediate K. If you have time, check the ebay or another sites.

How about the 15" New Stamp(1000g) BIN $300?

that looks a little to pricy atm :p

What should I do with the cymbals, clean them? or let them be?

Would i risk playing them? cause they really sound amazing ;)

Do you already has them?

As for Old K Con & Ist, I feel no need cleaning. If you don't know, let them alone. Risk? If the sound is nice, enjoy playing! D' Drummer

Thanks Yoshi ;)

yeah, I have the 18" avedis and the 15" K with a 15" istanbul thin crash that make a awesome hihat!!

I think I'm gonna give the 18" a basic clean to take off the fingerprints and leave the 15" K alone, it looks great and I don't like very shiny cymbals anyway!
