From Tommy_Dichter

hey David -Thanks for adding this catalog - However, when clicking on each small image, the page does not open and show the image in a larger view, So its hard to see what's in there :-(Any ideas when will you add a Java script event to pop up the image in its full size when clicked?Cheers,Tommy

Ancient resurrect. But interesting read.

I've had a look at the HTML code and all the files are there. Just seems to be a bug (or feature?) in the javascript which keeps the OnClick event from happening. But I'm not a javascript programmer so I can't see how to fix it. I just had a look at the full sized images by just going underneath the code and looking at the jpg files. The directory is wide open so you can just go and browse away.

I'lll agree with you there...I got mine new as well....but I'm sure it was in early 81. So its possible its the same catalog, they just issued it earlier and used it for a while.....but I'll have to think no earlier than 1980 then....when did they come out with Brilliants for sure? Anyone??

A somewhat delayed answer, but there is an ad from June 1971 which offers Brilliant finish on all Avedis and Zilco cymbals.

Large original (so you can read the date 6-71 in the lower left) is at:

Thanks a lot David for providing the image libraries to view the images.

By the way, I am a JavaScript programmer, among other languages that I developed with... If you want, I can view the HTML + the JavaScript code and see why the onclick even is not working ... cos I see that all the images are at ../images/literature/zildjian/ - so, if we point to an image from that location, it should work...

Anyways, thanks again!
