That is really fine work Jeff!
Are you taking orders? I've got a project that I'm considering taking on and its a blue stain match on a Tama set. Wouldn't attempt this myself.

Thank you Doug. I am extreamly busy now with cabinet jobs. Everyone decided to hire me at once. And on top of that I have three drum jobs to do on the side. I am interested in your project but it will be several weeks before I could do it. Can you post a pic of the drums and tell me what you need? That would be a good start, then I could give you a price at least.
Thanks again!
Jeff - should I post here, or start a new thread or just contact you?
I don't want to hijack someone else's thread. Thanks!

Doug, post a pic right here. I would think that others might be interested in seeing what can be done. Dont worry about hijaking the thread, its all about matching colors so you fit right in. If we decide to make a deal then we will do it in private.

I've been busy with gigs and finally got a chance to assemble the 6" and 8" and take a couple photos. Here's one of them. I think the photo speaks for itself.
I will hopefully take a few more once I get the bass drum parts for the 18" shell.
Jeff, I'm glad to hear that both of your businesses are doing well!
Holy cow! That looks spectacular! Congrats to you both.
They look even better put together. I did two of them, one is an original.
Those look great~! Please post some pics of the kit when it's setup and complete please!!
Nice work there Jeff! Cool1
Here are a couple of hastily taken not-so-great photos from last night.
First note the scale - the cymbals look huge but are:
right to left - 13" hats, 16" crash, 20" ride, 18" crash
Toms are 6",8", 10", and a thunderous 13" "floor"tom. 18" kick.
Note in the photo taken slightly right of the front the ride is causing a shadow from the stage lights so you need to look at the shadowed portion of the kick and just below the rim of the adjacent tom to give an honest comparison with the original 10" tom. The fingerprints on the 10" are also making a good comparison a little more difficult.
I made the mistake of channeling my inner Dennis Chambers one too many times and found my aim to be a bit off on occasion. DOH
The cool thing about this kit is it can be very quiet when I want but the little toms cut through when you need them...and it is tiny for a 6 piece kit.
I will try to post better photos in the future.
Thanks again Jeff for a job well done!
I really, really like that kit...it is stunning. I also like that it has the dynamic range you describe. That would be very good to have.
