White 80's Ludwig Rocker w/Classic Lugs

My son used this kit 3 weeks ago in a local talent competition and they sounded great. I think the audience agreed too, because they were the last act of the night and gave them the only standing ovation.

You got me missing my Rockers (red version). They sounded great. Even the COW snare. Loud, very loud.

Now I'm going to have to investigate more thoroughly the Rocker drums I bought 2 years ago. All w/ standard lugs, all white but mixed clear and granitone interiors and wood and metal b/d hoops. All stacked in the barn. Neither b/d has a 7/8 tube mount, so are they American?

Definitely. First drums made after Ludwig move to Monroe NC I think.

So here is what I've got... one 16X22 natural interior, wood hoops, pivoting spurs originally red, painted white. And matching 14X22 and 16X16 "brownitone" interiors, steel hoops. Both have Standard lugs, imported T-rods and the American Ludwig tom receiver. Black/white non-pointy badges.

Tim - Great shots of your son up there 'doin it!' Reminds me of my son, tall, wirey, after awhile, whenever I had to reprimand him, I had to look up at him while I was doing it. I'm sure you're familiar with the feeling. LOL Thanks for sharing the photos.

John

Too many great drums to list here!
