Virus from Jammin Sams

From poppy79424

I bought me a brand new MacBook Pro and am sill afraid to go to jamming same website. Does anyone have his number?

You have absolutely nothing to worry about. The chances of your Mac picking up a virus are about as good as you finding a Slingerland Black Beauty in a Pawnshop for 50 bucks.

I just went to Jammin Sam's website. 1st time since I got the virus 2 months ago. Nothing happened. but I have a MacBook now. I always thought it was weird that Sam's doesn't do email, especially since it's a internet based company. It's the only internet company i have ever seen that wont correspond through email.

Right or wrong I believe Sam thinks there is too much information that has to be ascertained to be done via email. Basically he likes to ask and answer all the standard questions try to give you the best information possible. He seems to think this is best handled over the phone. I don't necessarily agree with that as the nice thing about email is, you can get to it whenever as opposed to having to make time for two people to talk, and you have a written record of everything.

I found a pretty cool Sound Percussion 3pc kit at a thrift store for $25. The cheap black wrap was bubbled all over. I ordered wrap from Sam and built a matching snare drum. Yeah, I spent considerably more than the kit was worth, but it was a fun project and the kit now resides at my girlfriend's house!

Thats a really nice Wrap.. Great job..

Cheers

Because Sam would prefer to talk to you on the phone! If he took emails, he'd spend too much time answering them! Personally, I enjoy talking to Sam. I've been dealing with him for decades now!

Thanks for the positive feedback! Sometimes, you can't put a price on personal drum projects. I've no doubt that many of us on this forum do the same. We know that we will never get out of a kit what we put into it, but that's not the point. We look at a poor set of drums and say to ourselves "I think I can save it"!
