Here is the arabic script..for the 20" AZ China 1740 gm

The script is so light you can eyeball the cymbal 2 or 3 times and completely miss it..

Just to take a pic of it..you have to get the light just right w/macro lens or it wont show up.

Here is another AZ China for comparison...18" 1035gm Trans stamp..

Wow that is quite a collection of cymbals you have there EDL. That 18" china/swish must be a rare one indeed!

Your swish is a difficult one. But I'm thinking its a large stamp.

The second one is of course a trans stamp.

All I can say is the 20" China looks a LOT older than the trans stamp..which has similar lathing to a hollow stamp 22" Swish I also have. The 20" looks like it comes completely from another earlier era..

Here is the 22" hollow stamp China..

So that rules out a large stamp. I'd like to see the hammering on the back.

How far back do the china/swish style cymbals go for zildjian?

This thread just keeps getting more interesting! My wife doesn't realize it yet but i just need one more.....

All the way back to the 1930's. Like this 15" for example:

And some of these had a unique type of trademark too:
