Hey VDF members

For those that will be at the CT Drum Show on April 22nd, how about we gather at the Walberg & Auge booth at 2:30 to meet each other, and we can get a picture together around Big Blue for John and to post on the forum.

I spoke to Rick Smith and the Gregg Bissonette clinic is from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm and the Richie Morales clinic is 3:00 - 5:00 pm

I look forward to meeting everyone that can attend at 2:30.

It's hard enough for me not being able to attend, knowing that you guys will be there to see Blue makes it excruciating. I REALLY wish I could attend just to meet you guys in-person. To all who attend, enjoy the show and enjoy Blue. It really is a very special set of drums/instrument.

Regards to all,

John

Too many great drums to list here!

John you will be there in spirit that’s for sure.

Your labor of love and “perfection” of restoration will forever remain with this kit.

No one can appreciate that more than all these drum enthusiasts or I.

Never been to a drum show amazingly but looking forward to it.

A special thanks to John and Jeremy for making this possible.

Jeff , that would be cool, hope you can make it.

3rd generation drummer is a plus also sounds like a good day to spend with the son.

I thought about going, but when I saw it was 2.5 hours away, I decided it was too far, so have fun without me.

Hey Mike, you know I'll be there.

Breakfast at the diner again? The other Mike will be coming along as well. I haven't convinced him to join up here yet... Probably because It'll bankrupt him (although his drum collection is small but quite enviable!).

Boys - Wayne just picked up Big Blue and he's on his way out to the show! Blue will be there tomorrow. Please be sure and stop by to see this one-of-a-kind instrument.

I wish with all my heart that I could be there with you. I'd love to meet some of you after all these years... enjoy Blue.

Oh, and any members who didn’t see it, our annual pre-show breakfast is starting at 8:00 at the Olympia Diner Jess than a mile south of the show location.

Two Mike’s and I are confirmed. Food is decent and prices are fair.

Otherwise, see you at Blue!
